Alverno College Library partners with other private colleges in the area to offer you more resources than we house on-campus. The name of this consortium is SWITCH (Southeastern Wisconsin Information Technology exCHange). You can request items and journal articles by clicking the "Request" button  on any page in TOPCAT, the library's catalog.  Delivery is usually within 24 hours. All you need for requesting items is your library bar code and a PIN number.

For items such as books and journal articles not available from the Alverno College library or our partner SWITCH libraries you can use a service called interlibrary loan. To use this service click the "Borrow from Other Libraries" link on the library home page.

It could take as long as a week to ten days to receive items requested via interlibrary loan.
